Privacy Policy
Star Jar is a simple reward jar: you drag stars or marbles into a jar until you reach a goal. This policy covers the Star Jar iPhone app, the Star Jar web app at star-jar-gules.vercel.app, and this website. Star Jar is made by Michael Palhidai (“we”, “us”).
What we collect
Nothing. Star Jar does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and the app makes no network calls.
What is stored on your device
Your jar — how many items are in it, your goal, and whether you chose stars or marbles — is saved only on your own device using local storage, so it is still there the next time you open the app. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Deleting the app (or clearing the website’s data in your browser) removes it.
Third parties
Star Jar does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code, and does not share data with anyone. If you download the app from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s own privacy policy applies to the App Store itself.
Children
Star Jar is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
